Tidal was recommended to the City of Vancouver. The whole experience went very well, there was excellent communication everyone was very responsive and able to deliver great results under very, very tight timelines. When it came to the technology Tidal made some great recommendations. They have a strong understanding of web strategy and social media.

Hiring Process

Tidal Multimedia has experienced a good growth pattern over the years. We feel that one of the key reasons for our success is the people who work here. We want to ensure that the individuals that join us are bright, ambitious, talented and would enjoy our unique corporate culture. Here is what you can expect once you have applied for a position.

1. ShortList

We will review your application (resume, email, cover letter etc.) and will take a look at your portfolio and the work samples you have provided.

2. Telephone Conversation

we will arrange a brief phone call with one of our managing partners to get an initial introduction on your background, experience, education, career goal and aspirations. We are interested in finding out as much about your relevant experience as possible but will also want to know things like what keeps you occupied in your spare time. You also have the opportunity to ask us questions during this conversation.

3. In-Person Meeting

Based on our initial conversation we will determine whether we should have a formal in person Meeting. During this meeting, you are likely to meet a couple of our team members as we ask you a variety of questions focusing on the relevance of your experiences and your career goals. We may also get you to walk us through some of your previous projects. It’s also important to highlight your interests outside of work. A typical meeting will last about 30-60 minutes P.S. You don’t need to wear a suit for the interview; we have a casual work environment ;-)

4. Testing

If appropriate, we may ask you to perform a some technical tasks that would test your programming skills.
