In British Columbia, the Liquor Distribution Branch (LDB) is one of two branches of government responsible for the beverage alcohol industry. The branch operates a retail/wholesale beverage alcohol business including BC Liquor Stores retail locations across British Columbia. The LDB has the shared responsibility of encouraging the responsible consumption of beverage alcohol, working closely together with the Liquor Control and Licensing Branch to coordinate policies and programs to this end.
