Usability and User testing > Baseline Testing
What is Baseline User Testing?
In this form of user testing we get a group users together to test out different tasks on your current site. The results establish a baseline in which we measure future behavior against. We take their feedback and responses from your current site and use that information when developing a new wireframe layout.
Once the website wireframe is completed, we bring that same group of users back and have them go through the same user tasks. We compare their feedback the second time around to their initial responses.
If there is a substantial sign of improvement with the user tasks we then proceed on to website design and development. If there are still some areas that need to be refined, we update the wireframe and then test again until we are satisfied with the end process.
